How does your Design process work?
What format do you need my logo in?
CardFX requires a vector logo. Vector logos are scalable and can be printed at any size without losing resolution. Some acceptable vector file types: .ai, .pdf, .eps.
The alternative is a raster logo, which is not acceptable for print. Unacceptable file types: .jpeg, .tiff, .gif, .png, .psd, .bmp. When enlarged, raster images lose resolution, making them blurry and pixelated.

I don't have a vector logo. What do I do?
A vector logo is essential to the professional image of your Company. CardFX offers logo recreation for $85/hour (1 hour min.). Most logos can be recreated within an hour. Send your raster logo to design (at) cardfxdirect.com. We will find the typeface used in your logo or trace the lettering and any illustration. We will send you the completed vector logo to use in any future marketing initiative.
Does CardFX offer images to use in the design of my promotion?
CardFX currently offers images for the following industries: Apparel, Jewelry, Furniture, Salon and Spa. We continually update our images to keep up with industry trends. You can also supply your own image.
What is the difference between Standard and Custom Design?
Standard design is based on a template. Seasonal templates are available for the apparel industry. Each template allows you to insert your logo, choose an image from our galleries, customize your promotional offer, expiration date, brand names, contact info and store hours.
Custom design is not based on a template. You are welcome to submit your own images or use up to three of ours. Our design department will work with you to convey an image consistent with your brand.
Will I see the design before it goes to print?
CardFX offers two free rounds of revisions with all design packages. Additional revisions will be billed at $85/hour. To avoid additional charges, review your proof carefully and request all revisions at one time. CardFX will not place your design into production until the proof has been signed and faxed to (800) 627-2716.
Production and Mailing
How long does it take to produce and mail a product?
4 - 6 weeks for premium Plastic Card promotions.
3 - 4 weeks for plastic Postcard or Punch Out Postcard.
What format do you need a customer list in?
Acceptable file formats are .txt, .xls and .csv. When you start a promotion with CardFX, we'll send you a List Setup Guide with more detailed information.
